August 2 and 3, Chiquimula and Rio Dulce

On Friday August 2 and 3rd 2014 we traveled with the Humanitarian Missionaries to Chiquimula and Rio Dulce.  To Chiquimula to inspect a school to see if they needed some help.  Turns out that the school just needed repairs in the room.  They had quite a few desks and chairs and some worn out desks and chairs piled up in a room behind a bathroom.  First pictures of the school.

We went from Chiquimula to Rio Dulce, Sweet River to do a little touristing.  Once at Rio Dulce we crossed the river on a small boat to a hotel where we stayed in little cottages right over the river.  Next day the same boat took us on a tour of the river and a lake.  We went to the town called Livingston but none of us were very impressed. The following are some great pictures.
