The following pictures are from Quirigua an ancient city that was used primarily for trading near the cost. The layout of the ancient city is very similar to many other ruins in Central America. The carved rocks are very intricate and tells of their life their and of important people there. Game stadiums, market places and religious edifices are all part of this city along with their trading areas.
I didn´t see all these personally as I was getting eaten alive by ants that were everywhere. So I headed back to the car and Elder B took most of these pictures. Enjoy
